PEACEFUL PINES GROUND BREAKING FOR NEW SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

A ground breaking ceremony was held Wednesday for Peaceful Pines Senior Living which will be located at the Broadland Creek residential community on Ohio Avenue nw.  The project from HME Companies out of Brookings.  Ted Haeder with Greater Huron Development said the project has taken some time to get to this point.

The senior living community will have 20 living units, 20 memory units and 20 assisted living units build by HME Companies at a cost of $16 million.  Huron Mayor Gary Harrington said it will be a great addition to the city of Huron.

Victoria Blatchford with HME talks about Care Predict a system in place at their Milbank facility and one to open in August in Madison.  She talks about the benefits of senior living in a community environment.

Construction for Peaceful Pines is set to begin soon.
