psprop2The City of Huron hired Kludt’s law firm in January to handle dealing with the Pagel/Swanson property. The parcel was transferred to the City of Huron from Beadle County after the land was surplussed and did not sell at an auction in December. The City of Huron has approximately one-point-five million dollars in special assessments on the land for water, sewer, curb, gutter and paving infrastructure. Land developer Pagel and Swanson corporation also failed to pay property taxes on the land located on the south end of Huron.
