Overnight Storms Pack Damaging Winds in SE Portions of the State

Many areas of South Dakota were hit by thunderstorms overnight.

Meteorologist Nick Carlyle says one system toward the southeast part of the state had damaging wind.

He says storms may redevelop this afternoon.

Carlyle says the dew point is going to be uncomfortable for the next few days.

The local forecast calls for a few days of drying out beginning Thursday.
