The Out of the Darkness community walk will be held this Sunday at Campbell park in Huron. The event is supported by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Organizer Janet Harvey with AFSP said events like the walk are an important part of keeping the conversation of suicide prevention moving forward.
She said that having a place to turn and talk no matter what time of day is a great option that is available by calling or texting 988.
