Open enrollment for Medicare Advantage plans starts later this month and those using those programs and newly eligible should check out their options.
Greg Meyers, with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Denver Regional Office, says those plans are additions to traditional Medicare and do have a cost.
Meyers says plans and options change every year.
Meyers says there is help available in almost every county.
The sign up runs from October 15th through December 7th.
