WOONSOCKET, S.D. (AP) – Investigators say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Woonsocket woman who has now been missing for a year. Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley says that neither he nor the family of Rachel Cyriacks think she will be found alive. Cyriacks was last seen on the morning of Nov. 13, 2013, in Woonsocket. Her pickup truck was found in January, with a lot of damage to its undercarriage. Searches over the past year have included a helicopter search between Wessington Springs, Huron and Woonsocket in March and a cadaver dog search south of Alpena in April. Fridley says he suspects foul play but “can’t prove it yet.” He also says, “We haven’t got a lot of optimism here.”
