The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old male, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken by ambulance to HRMC and later flown to Sioux Falls. The name of the injured man is not being released at this time.
There were no injuries to any of the three occupants of the truck/trailer.
Seatbelt use by each is under investigation.
Both vehicles were towed. Traffic was reduced to one lane westbound and one lane southbound while the crash was investigated and the scene was cleaned up.
