Borg says getting assistance from the K-9 units from outside Huron benefits not only Huron, but the unit’s assisting too….
The search was conducted from 9:30 to 11:45 AM Wednesday. During that time students were kept in their classrooms. School searches are set-up at random between the Department’s School Resource Officer and K-9 Officer. The K-9 Units from Jerauld and Spink Counties have teamed up before with the Huron Police for similar school searches and training sessions.
