Monday night, the Huron Board of Education heard a report on the general fund from business manager Kelly Christopherson.
Christopherson said the district is at the halfway point of the fiscal year.
Christopherson also gave an update on a request to vacate the alley south of the Huron Arena. He said the city commission made a discovery while studying the request.
The city commission has set February 4th as the public hearing date to consider the alley vacation petitions filed by the Huron School District.
