Officials Encourage Flu Shots NOW

According to State Epidemiologist Dr. Lon Kightlinger the flu bug is hitting early and hard.  In a normal year he says the flu bug would just now start showing up, however the incidence of influenza has been increasing since November with three deaths now reported statewide.  He says it’s an early and more intense influenza season this year…
