A North Dakota man accused of having sex with a 16-year-old Redfield girl has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of transportation of child pornography. Forty-year-old Quentin Edward Doerr pleaded guilty to the charge on Tuesday. In pleading guilty to the charge, Doerr admitted to possessing video recordings depicting himself engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor female in January of 2012. U-S Attorney Brenden Johnson says Doerr traveled from South Dakota to his home in Bismark with the video file of child pornography in his computer. Doerr was also charged with luring a minor by computer and promoting obscenity to a minor in the case. The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, Spink County Sheriff, F-B-I and Bismark Police Department investigated the case. Doerr could face 20 years in prison and or a 250-thousand dollar fine. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered by U-S District Judge Charles Kornmann. Sentencing is scheduled for July 29th
