The fund raising for the Nordby Exhibit Hall for 4-H, Youth and Community hit turbo gear during the South Dakota State Fair. The fairgrounds in Huron is the site for the four-point-seven million dollar replacement for Clover Hall. Sunday at the State Fair, saw two more donations, one from Vern’s Manufacturing of Wessington for 25-thousand dollars. The second was from the South Dakota Beef Industry Board. The Beef Industry Board’s donation is 30-thousand dollars. State Fair Commissioner Erin Yost told the crowd that the Capital Campaign has raised four-point-one million dollars for the Nordby Exhibit Hall, leaving the project 600-thousand dollars short of it’s goal.
