She says Burke has gone through five disasters so far this year.
The National Weather Service has concluded its assessment of the storm that damaged portions of Burke in southern South Dakota Tuesday night.
Todd Heitkamp is Meteorologist in charge of the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls.
He says twister was rated an EF-1 with speeds of around 110 miles an hour.
The storm damaged the Burke middle school a lumberyard, civic center, surrounding businesses, homes and other structures. Two people were slightly injured.
