The congresswoman was on hand Thursday night for the final performance of the Red Wilk Construction Tuff Hedenman Bull Bash, taking part in the American Hero Award Ceremony.
A preliminary trade agreement with Mexico has raised hopes for an updated NAFTA agreement. Noem says she is optimistic but says any trade deals with Canada and Mexico must be more beneficial to America’s agricultural producers.
Noem says she likes that the agreement with Mexico includes no tariffs on agricultural products.
Noem says she is excited to welcome President Trump to the state. Trump will be in Sioux Falls next Friday to support Noem’s bid for governor. Noem says she doesn’t have any additional details on the visit at this time.
