South Dakota Congresswoman Kristi Noem has been campaigning around the state this week, talking about her “Kickstart South Dakota’s Economy” plan.
Included in that is focusing more on livestock development from dairy, to hogs to poultry.
Noem says she would have state agencies be more active in livestock development
Noem says she has heard from some rural residents that they have felt “ambushed” by livestock developments. She says the states involvement could help change that
Noem says value added ag development is vital to the states future
Noem will make a stop at D&K Outpost in Highmore today for a meet and greet at 2pm.
Noem faces Attorney General Marty Jackley in the republican June primary.
