Commissioners approved both an on-off sale malt beverage license for Metropolis and a special event alcohol license for this weekend and next weekend. The special event mat beverage license will allow Metropolis to serve alcohol temporarily on behalf of the malt beverage license already in place at Garcia’s restaurant in downtown Huron until the site specific license for the Huron Mall location becomes valid.
