Julie Gross has been appointed USDA Rural Development Director in South Dakota. Gross wants to work with Rural Development’s partners and bring in more funding to enhance those programs.
She says one of her goals is to increase the value of the state’s rural development programs, and create new partnerships to help deliver those services more efficiently.
Gross is excited about two of their housing programs that she feels have great potential.
Gross says she has a passion for making life better for others, and is hoping to continue that in her job as Rural Development Director.
