The HRMC Foundation has announced a new licensed practical nursing education program will be offered in Huron at Huron Community Campus Center beginning in January 2020.
Brooke Sydow, Workforce Program Development Director with the Foundation, says HRMC will work with Southeast Technical Institute on the program.
Last year, an LPN to RN program was created in Huron through a partnership with Southeast Tech. Sydow says like that program this will be a hybrid program.
The Foundation was pleased with the response to the LPN to RN and is hoping for the same with this program.
Sydow says they are already working with students who are interested in this program.
She says the most important step is the entrance exam.
