Moore recused himself from the Sylaart case citing possible conflict of interest with Fred Sylaart being a former county employee. Brown County States Attorney Kimberly Dorrsett is acting as special prosecutor for Moore in the case. The Sylaarts are accused of assaulting the victims at the family’s rural home daycare south of Cavour. There is no word on when Third Circuit Presiding Judge David Geinapp may have a new judge ready to hear the case.
