Last week, Huron High School graduate Brendan Huber was named head women’s and men’s cross country coach at Gustavus Adolphus College. Huber has been on the staff at Gustavus for eight years, and has been waiting for this opportunity.
Huber was a 2000 graduate from Huron, and was an all state runner for the Tigers, finishing fourth at the 1999 state cross country meet. He gives a lot of credit to former Huron coach Roger Loecker.
Huber has been lead cross country assistant for the past eight years at Gustavus, and says his transition to head coach will be seamless
Gustavus Adolphus is an NCAA Division three school located in St. Peter, Minnesota.
