New 4-H Exhibit Hall Gains $50-K From First National Bank South Dakota

 

First National Bank Official Press PhotoThe South Dakota State Fair Foundation has chipped off another chuck of the gap between money raised and money TO BE raised for the Nordby Exhibit Hall for 4-H, Youth and Community which will replace Clover Hall on the State Fairgrounds in Huron….

State Fair Manager Jerome Hertel says First National Bank South Dakota’s donation brings the funds raised to just over two-point-six million dollars. The 49-thousand square foot 4-H exhibit hall is expected to cost around four-million dollars to construct. Hertel says families or individuals can make a personal donation and have that donation incorporated into the facility….

The bricks will have the donor family or individuals name engraved on the brick and placed either as a paver on the ground or installed on the exterior. Bricks can be provided in honor of or in memory of a loved one. The State Fair has also made major changes it it’s website, www.sdstatefair.com

Hertel says the State Fairgrounds will be host to a few smaller off season events and will soon be into full State Fair prep mode…

The 2014 South Dakota State Fair runs August 28th to September 1st with a preview day on Wednesday August 27th.
