An event that was cancelled last year is back Tuesday August 3rd. National night out will be from 5-8 pm. It is an opportunity for kids and the general public to come out and meet law enforcement, first responders and more and participate in many activities for kids and the general public. With the negativity nationwide towards law enforcement from last year, Captain Mark Johnson with the Huron Police Department said these type of events are important for community contact.
Johnson said Campbell park will have lots of activities for the community to be involved with.
