A 57-year-old Fulton, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash northeast of Mitchell.
A 2003 Dodge Caravan was traveling on 247th Street near the intersection of 414th Avenue when the driver, Robert Bender, lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled several times into a crop field.
Bender, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
