The prosecutor in a Pierre teen’s murder case says he will continue working to prepare for trial-following Tuesday’s ruling by a judge that 17-year-old Braiden McCahren’s case remain in adult court. McCahren is charged in the death of 16-year-old Dalton Williams in December of 2012 following a shooting at McCahren’s home. McCahren’s defense attorneys have said they will likely appeal what is the second ruling in the past six months to keep the case in adult court. Beadle County State’s Attorney Mike Moore who is the lead prosecutor, says the future weeks could bring a rerun of last fall.
