Donations for the new 4-H Exhibit Hall on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds continue to slowly come in. The State Fair Foundation Wednesday announced that Monsanto Seed brands, Channel, DeKalb, Asgrow and Rea Hybrids have added 100-thousand dollars to the Capital Campaign for Nordby Hall. Todd Gannaon with Monsanto says 4-H and the youth involved in 4-H programs are the foundation of agriculture in the community and are essential to a promising future. State Fair Manager Jerome Hertel says Monsanto has been a solid partner of the State Fair through brand sponsorships and are taking their commitment a step further with the donation. The replacement to Clover Hal will be 46-thousand 910 square feet with over 35-thousand square feet of exhibit space, classrooms, large kitchen, year round concessions and a performing stage.
