A Missouri motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a Semi-truck in Jerauld County Thursday afternoon. Fifty-three-year old Maynard Jones Senior tried to pass an International semi-tractor driven by Even Styles of Wessington Springs. Styles was turning left off of US Highway 281 a mile south of the intersection of 281 and South Dakota Highway 34. Jones’ Harley Davidson motorcycle struck Styles semi in the drivers side. Jones was ejected from the bike and was not wearing a helmet. He died at the scene. The South Dakota Highway Patrol say the crash remains under investigation. The Jerauld County Sheriff’s Office, Wessington Springs Fire Department and Jerauld County Coroner assisted at the crash site
