At Monday nights Huron City Commission meeting assistant city engineer Dennis Bennett advised the commission that the SD 37 reconstruction project would begin with a shortened version this year. Huron Mayor Gary Harrington outlines the work this Summer.
With that the SD DOT is hosting a SD 37 Dakota avenue pre construction meeting on Thursday May 2nd 5:30 at the Huron Events Center. Basic project information will be presented. You can attend in person or there are phone or virtual options available. They will have a project overview. The city utility and streetscape project will take place at the same time as the road construction. Huron Radio news has a posting of the meeting information for May 2nd.
