Anyone interested in becoming a better gardener or just improving their knowledge of plants, flowers and trees will want to sign up for the SDSU Extension Master Gardener Training in Huron beginning June 5th. The training will be held on Tuesdays June 5, 12, 19, 26, and July 10, 17, 24, 31.
President Arlene Brandt-Jenson says the training is the equivalent of a college level course.
Participants who take the course, and pass a test, will become Master Gardener interns.
While there are online resources, Brandt-Jenson says the bulk of the training will be hands on.
