A Huron man was arrested Monday after an alleged episode of road rage on a city street. Sixty-six year old Richard Rathjen was arrested on an aggravated assault charge. The victim told police they had been cut off by a red Ford pick-up. The victim then honked at the Rathjen and exchanged words. After the initial altercation, the victim, then traveled to his job. After getting to his work place the victim told police, he realized he had been followed by the pick up. After a second verbal altercation, the victim claimed the driver brandished a 357 or 44 caliber revolver. Officers located the suspect vehicle based off of a description and partial license plate number. A weapon, matching the description of the revolver was seized as evidence in the investigation.
