The Senate Education Committee passes a bill that requires South Dakota Schools to have a safety plan in place and conduct annual lockdown drills. Senator Larry Tidemann of Brookings is the bill’s sponsor. He brought it forth at the request of the state’s school resource officers. Tidemann
