Lawmakers Back To Work

PIERRE, SD – Lawmakers are back in Pierre after a holiday weekend for day No. 5 of the South Dakota legislative session.  A number of committees in both the House and Senate meet Tuesday, but there is very little on their agenda yet.   Legislators are starting to introduce bills. One of them would allow the use of snowmobiles to hunt coyotes.  Another bill increases the penalty for secretly photographing juveniles. It makes it a felony if anyone age 21 or older uses concealed cameras to secretly tape anyone 17 or younger who is nude, or to use a concealed camera to peek under or through the juvenile’s clothing.
