Jury selection begins today in the trial of John Rose. The 66-year-old Huron man was indicted by a Beadle County Grand Jury last December, just before Christmas on a total of 36 charges. Those charges include eight counts of first degree rape, eight counts of aggravated incest eight counts of sexual contact with a child under the age of 16 and 12 counts of possession or manufacture of child pornography. A three day trial has been scheduled for Rose who remains out of jail after posting bond last year.
