Johnson Says Lewis And Clark Project Funding Is Tight

The Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project is going to shift money around this year in an effort to be able to pipe water to Sioux Falls next year.  Congress has yet to approve funding in the 2011 budget, and the Obama Administration is proposing less than five hundred thousand dollars for next year, far below what is needed to continue construction.  South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson says his options are limited…

The system will pipe water to towns and cities in Iowa and Minnesota, and Johnson says the Congressional delegations in those states need to step up…
