Jackley Says Project Stand Up Off to a “Great Start”

The attorney general’s office says this month marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of the Project Stand Up Program.

Attorney General Marty Jackley says it’s gotten off to a great start….

Project Stand Up is a coordinated effort among law enforcement officials and healthcare providers statewide to standup to illegal drug use in South Dakota through anonymous tips. Texting a tip is simple- just text ‘drugs’ to 82257. Authorities ask the tipster a series of questions for additional information. The tipster always remains anonymous.

Project Stand Up was launched statewide on May 18, 2017 in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office, Sanford Health, South Dakota Sheriff’s Association, South Dakota Police Chiefs’ Association and the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
