Jackley says those ignition interlock devices would be used as a pilot project in South Dakota as part of the state’s “24/7 Sobriety Program” if approved by lawmakers….

Jackley says the ignition interlock devices have proven to be a bit problematic in South Dakota in the past, but he thinks they’ll work well now….

A bill supporting the use of ignition interlock devices as a pilot project has passed the South Dakota Senate, and will get a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee this week.
