Officials say Interstate 90 westbound is closed at Wall due to crashes involving semis that will take time to get clear.
Closing the westbound lanes of I-90 at Wall will allow crews the ability to clear the road more quickly and keep travelers safe.
No Travel Advisories continue to be posted and updated as this storm moves to the east. Based on information from the National Weather Service , conditions are expected to worsen as the storm continues to move east, with additional snowfall and strong winds making travel hazardous during the day. A blizzard warning is in effect for much of the northeastern part of the state.
Drivers of high-profile vehicles need to exercise extra caution across the state with sustained winds of 25-40 mph in most areas along with gusts of 50 plus mph according to the NWS.
Motorists are being asked to postpone travel plans until the storm passes and the winds decrease later tonight.
