Thursday is Miracle treat day at Dairy Queens across South Dakota and the Nation. Huron Dairy Queen store manager Austin Duxbury says Thursday is their busiest day of the year and they have been preparing for awhile. He says its hard to tell how many blizzards they’ll make, they just go off previous years numbers.
Duxbury says there have been some large pre-orders.
Blizzard pre-orders for need to be in by the end of the day Wednesday 7/23. Austin says South Dakota Dairy Queens usually lead the nation for miracle treats.
Huron Dairy Queen is open 11am till 10pm, but Duxbury says anyone with a pre-order may pick up before 11am Thursday, just call ahead 605-352-5097.
