PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Representatives of eight communities and an energy company are joining officials with the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development at an outdoors show in Las Vegas.
The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show is Jan. 20-23. Gov. Dennis Daugaard says the SHOT Show a good opportunity to showcase the benefits of doing business in South Dakota. State officials have attended the annual show for more than a dozen years.
Representatives from Aberdeen, Huron, Madison, Pierre, Sturgis, Vermillion, Yankton, Black Hills Power of Rapid City, and Britton/Glacial Lakes Area Development will be the South Dakota booth.
Officials say the show attracts businesses from every state and more than 100 countries.
