Huron Tiger soccer will open their seasons today hosting Aberdeen at Tiger Stadium. Myranda Holtrop is in her second year as head coach of the Tiger girls. Twenty eight girls are out for soccer this year, which Holtrop says is an encouraging sign for the program.
She says the Tigers will be able to field full J-V and varsity teams this year.
Leah Branaugh is the new head coach for Huron boys soccer. Leah has coached the boys in the spring season for several years and is familiar with the kids. She says her kids play year round.
Girls varsity begins at 4 this afternoon at Tiger Stadium, followed by the boys.
