The Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office offered a vacant home in Woonsocket on Highway 34 next to the Bethany Lutheran Church for the Huron S-R-T team to conduct real-time entries and flash bang grenade deployments into an unfamiliar structure. Sergeant Brandon Neitzert says the team learned a lot in the roughly two hour training….

Adding to the realism were cold, breezy north winds and steps with thick, hard packed ice that made climbing difficult. The Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office says an unattended death took place in the home, and it has been vacant ever since.
