Huron School Board Meets Tonight

The Huron School Board is meeting on a Tuesday tonight instead of a Monday night meeting at the Instructional Planning Center at the Huron Arena. Board members will consider a consent agenda that includes among other things consideration of eight new hires and three resignations and an open enrollment request. The Board will celebrate successes in the District and extend thank yous to a number of individuals and groups. Members of the Huron School Board will hear reports from the Middle School Builders Club, Good News Report, Business Manager Report, Superintendent’s Report and give a number of dates to remember. In old business, the Huron School Board will consider the ASBSD Resolution Review and in new business, the board will select a Legislative Action Network representative. The Board will then take any community input and is not scheduled to meet in executive session. The Huron School Board will meet tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
