A 28 year old Huron man was injured around 10:25 pm Thursday night in a single-vehicle accident in Sanborn County.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reports Sevlen Standefern was traveling westbound on Highway 34, east of Forestburg when he failed to take a curve. Standefern’s 2017 Chevrolet Cruze rolled, eventually coming to rest in the eastbound lanes.
Standefer was taken Huron Regional Medical Center, and later flown to Sioux Falls with non-life threatening injuries.
He was wearing a seat belt.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
