Beadle County States Attorney Mike Moore says the 65 year-old Rose remains out of jail on bond…
Rose was originally arrested last Thursday after the victim came forward to authorities, who then obtained a search warrant for Rose’s home. He was booked last week on three charges of first degree rape and three counts of possessing child pornography. Aggravated incest and sexual contact with a person under the age of 16 are Class Three Felonies. Possession of Child Pornography is a Class Four Felony and First Degree Rape is a Class C Felony with a maximum sentence of life in prison and a 50-thousand dollar fine. Moore declined to elaborate on the relationship between Rose and the alleged victim citing the ongoing investigation.
