Huron Man Guilty Of Possessing Child Pornography

A Huron man was sentenced yesterday in federal court to six and a half years in federal prison for possessing child pornography.   32-year-old Joshua Jerome Morse pled guilty after more than 3,000 images and 200 videos of child pornography were found on his computer in December 2009.  Investigators seized Morse’s computer, two external hard drives and over 100 discs.  Morse told investigators he started viewing and collecting child pornography approximately 10 years before he was caught.  Morse will have to register as a sex offender and serve five years supervised probation after his release.
