Huron Getting Most Expenses Covered For Wind Storm Recovery

A wind gust of 87 miles an hour was reported in Huron on June 21st as a line of severe thunderstorms moved across east central South Dakota. Estimated damage for all of Beadle County from the storm is approximately 253 to 270-thousand dollars. Beadle County is one of seven counties included in a Presidential Disaster Declaration from the storm, opening the door for FEMA reimbursement.
