The Huron City Commission was honored Monday with an official designation as a Purple Heart City. The proclamation concludes a lengthy process. Huron Mayor Gary Harrington read the proclamation.
Jay Sather of Huron, Ken Tenneson from Sioux Falls and Buck Underwood from Luverne, Minnesota were there to represent the Purple Heart organization.
