The Commission approved the Huron Chamber’s request for an on-sale alcohol license for their next Business After Hours at Alltel on February 8th. Also approved was a plat filed by John Schulte and an agreement to market cardboard with LSI of Alpena. The second reading of an ordinance on city personnel was deferred for a week after debate on the ordinance led to an number of changes to be made. The first reading of the 2010 Supplemental Appropriations ordinance was approved. Four human resource items were approveds as were 2010 fund transfers and the City Commission appointed an appraisal team and declared DAF Equipment as surplus. The Commission then met in executive session for four items.
