The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will meet as the Board of Adjustments for a variance request for more signage than allowed for a Home Occupation request. When the Commission reconvenes, Commissioners. will hold a public hearing on Gene Halsey’s request for a Home Occupation permit that is tied to the variance request the Board of Adjustments will consider. The Commission will also consider a plat filed by Willard Wallman and consider an agreement with Lankota Incorporated for marketing corrugated cardboard. A resolution on penalty fees is up for consideration. Commissioners will consider a recommendation for towing services and will declare a 6000 gallon plus sludge tank and 3 inch sandpiper air pump surplus and appoint an appraisal committee for those items. The Commission will meet in executive session for Union Negotiations and will hold a work session to review next years Capitol Assets plan. The Commission is set to meet tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
