The 22nd annual Huron Area Antique Power Association show is tomorrow and Sunday in the southwest corner of the state fairgrounds.
You will see restored farm equipment, vehicles, and other implements going back 125 years or more. Before rural electricity, gasoline powered stationary engines were used for simple tasks such as pumping water and washing clothes, and Stickney brand is featured this year.
Committee member Roger Kropuenske says Stickney was produced for only 12 years, and are hard to find today.
This years show is also featuring vintage industrial and construction equipment, and Kropuenske says some of the pieces on display may have built the roads we still drive on today.
The show is tomorrow and Sunday, admission is free.
