Last night, city commissioners heard an update from Beadle County Humane Society, which included numbers for 2016.
Director Kim Krueger took the opportunity to remind residents to get their dogs and cats licensed.
Kruger says they need help from residents to control the city’s feral cat population.
The Human Society is continuing to raise money for a new van. The next fundraising event will be a baked potato feed/silent auction Feb. 26th at the Huron Elks.
